Fragrance packaging must communicate luxury, protect a fragile glass bottle, and comply with IFRA standards and regional labelling regulations. Secondary Packaging Options

• Rigid set-up box: 2mm greyboard, custom paper wrap, magnetic or ribbon-pull opening. EVA or thermoformed PET inner tray holds the bottle. Most common for 30–100 ml EDPs.
• Folding carton sleeve: Wraps the bottle box. Lower cost, ships flat. Less structural than rigid box.
• Cylinder tube: Used for oriental and oud fragrances. Metal push-fit cap, full-colour wrap.
• Wooden box: For premium attars and oud oils. Cedar or MDF wood, velvet lining.

Gift Set Packaging

Many fragrance launches include a gift set: a larger bottle plus a travel spray or scented candle. BestPackFactory designs multi-compartment rigid boxes with custom-shaped inserts to hold each item securely. Gift sets require a combined brief covering all item dimensions.

IFRA Compliance

IFRA (International Fragrance Association) standards restrict or ban specific fragrance ingredients. Labels in the EU must declare allergens present above 0.001% (leave-on products) or 0.01% (rinse-off) under Regulation 1223/2009/EC amended 2023. US Fragrance Labelling

Under the Fair Packaging and Labeling Act: net quantity, name and address of distributor, ingredient list (INCI format) on the outer carton. California adds Prop 65 warnings if applicable.
