Printed paper cups for coffee shops, tea and milk-tea brands, cafés and events. This page covers opaque paper cups only; one cup page is used for hot coffee, tea and milk-tea applications because the buying decisions are the same: cup structure, capacity, rim and closure, inner coating and artwork.
All three structures below are produced in our own factory, in the common capacities and matching rim diameters used in the market. Coatings, lids and the final specification for your order are confirmed in the quotation and on physical samples.
| Single wall | One paperboard wall with an inner barrier coating. The simplest structure for cold drinks, and for hot drinks when a sleeve is used. |
|---|---|
| Double wall | A second paper wrap around the cup creates an insulating gap, so a hot cup is more comfortable to hold without a sleeve. Higher material cost than single wall. |
| Ripple wall | A corrugated outer wrap that adds grip and insulation for hot drinks. The textured surface affects how the artwork prints and should be proofed on a sample. |
| Inner coating | PE, PLA and water-based barrier coatings behave differently in heat, oil and recycling streams. All three coatings are available; the coating is chosen from your drink, temperature and market rules; see PE vs PLA vs water-based coating. |
| Printing | Paper cups are commonly printed on the flat cup blank before forming, typically by flexographic or offset printing. The number of colors, spot (Pantone) colors and full-wrap designs affect cost and proofing; the printing method and color count for your order are confirmed in the quotation. |
| Closure | Fitted lids (for example sip lids) for hot coffee and tea; sealing film with a straw is common for milk tea. Fit is set by the rim diameter. We supply matching lids, sealing film and cup sleeves with the cups. |

For hot coffee, the main decisions are how the cup feels in the hand (single wall with sleeve, double wall or ripple wall), which lid the cup must fit, and how the artwork wraps around the cup. Matching lids and cup sleeves can be supplied with the cups. Send us the serving sizes on your menu and the lid you use or plan to use, and the cup and lid fit is checked on samples before production.

Milk tea and bubble tea cups are usually taller, are often sealed with film on a sealing machine and are drunk through a wide straw. Tell us your sealing machine or film, whether drinks are served hot or with ice, and how long they are held before drinking. Matching sealing film can be supplied with the cups. This page covers paper cups; we also make clear PET and PP plastic cups for milk tea, which are a different product and are quoted separately.
A complete RFQ lets us quote the cup you actually intend to buy. Items marked "confirmed in quotation" are not fixed on this page.
| Drink and temperature | Coffee, tea, milk tea or other; hot, cold or iced; holding time before drinking |

| Cup structure | Single wall, double wall or ripple wall (all three available) |
| Closure | Lid type or sealing film, and whether you need us to supply lids, film or sleeves; rim diameter or a sample of the lid / film you use |
| Inner coating | PE, PLA or water-based; tell us your preference or market requirement |
| Artwork | AI / PDF vector file; we provide a flattened cup-wrap template for your size, and printing is checked on a proof |
| Quantity and packing | Quantity per size and design; carton packing and destination |
| Documents | Food-contact documents required for your market; see the food packaging compliance document checklist |

Sometimes, but the closure usually decides it. Hot coffee is normally served with a fitted lid, while milk tea is often sealed with film and drunk through a wide straw. Tell us both drinks, the serving temperature and the closure you use, and we confirm whether one cup body can serve both or whether two specifications are needed.
All three structures are produced in our own factory. Single wall is the simplest structure and is commonly paired with a sleeve for hot drinks. Double wall and ripple wall add an outer layer that makes a hot cup more comfortable to hold without a sleeve, at a higher material cost.
Lid and film fit depends on the rim diameter of the cup, not on the nominal capacity. Send the rim diameter or a sample of the lid or sealing machine you already use, and the fit is checked on physical samples before mass production.
Nominal capacity is usually the brim-full volume, while the drink you serve sits lower in the cup. State the serving volume in ml, the brim capacity you expect and the market (US fl oz and UK fl oz differ), so the quotation names the same cup you intend to buy.
Condensation and softening depend on the drink temperature, ice, room humidity and holding time. We agree the test conditions with you and check them on samples; we do not promise a fixed holding time without that test.
