Aluminium foil (7–9 µm) provides a near-perfect gas barrier and is the strongest smell-proof option. VMPET (vacuum-metallized PET) is lighter and lower cost but has 10–50× higher OTR than true foil.
Can smell-proof bags have a transparent window?
