Does kraft paper alone provide enough moisture barrier for coffee?
No. Our kraft coffee bags use a kraft / AL / PE or kraft / VMPET / PE laminate inside, so the exterior has a natural kraft look while the inner layers provide a moisture and oxygen barrier.
Can I get a clear window on a kraft coffee bag?
Yes. We die-cut a window in the kraft layer and bond a transparent PET or OPP film behind it. Window shape and size are customized in the dieline.
Is the kraft coffee bag recyclable?
The outer kraft layer is paper-based, but the multi-layer laminate (kraft + aluminium + PE) is not widely recyclable. For a more sustainable option we offer kraft / PE mono-material pouches with reduced barrier life.
